Android Q will have a "Desktop Mode"
Most Android users have not yet received Pie but details are beginning to appear for Android Q successor.
XDA says it has been using an early Android Q build that unveils Google plans.
One of the most tangible Android changes will be a darker theme that will save the battery to those who have OLED screens.
Also, Android Q will bring an option for developers “Force experimental desktop mode on secondary displays.” This means that the operating system will have a different look similar to Samsung DeX when connected to a monitor.
However it is not known if it will arrive in the final version of Android but Google is at least considering it as an option.
Other new elements in this construction are minimal. Changes are also expected in privacy by restricting access to applications to location data.
The first experimental version of Android Q is expected to arrive at the developers’ conference in May.
